The natural arch at the mouth of Wied il-Mielaħ with the cave behind it, the 12 m reef and swim-through to the west, the crack at 20 m and the deep wall to the east. Coastline and the 52 steps are from OpenStreetMap; the arch outline is approximate; the underwater features follow the maltadives.com description and are placed approximately. The site coordinates point 750 m inland up the valley; the map origin is the entry at the arch (36.0795, 14.2130). Today the site is often dived by boat.

Wied il-Mielaħ is a valley on the north coast at Għasri that ends in a natural limestone arch over the sea, reached down a long flight of steps and a concrete platform.
Since the Azure Window collapsed in March 2017, this is the surviving arch on Gozo, and it has taken over much of the traffic. The dive goes out under the arch and along the wall, which is steep, cut with caves and crevices, and deeper than most of the shore sites.
Dived 7 August 2011 to 44.4 m — the deepest dive of the Malta trip and the deepest in this log outside the Red Sea and the Var.
