Two dives on 8 September 2019 logged simply as Vinkeveen, without an island. The position is the village centre, which is honest about the uncertainty rather than pretending to precision.

These two are worth noting for a different reason. Dive 429 had no depth and no duration recorded — one of only two such gaps in 674 dives. It was reconstructed in September 2026 from dive 430, its sibling: same day, same site, same four buddies, 11.1 m and 73 minutes. Applying the median first-to-second-dive ratio across the 92 same-day repeat pairs in this log — 1.028 on depth, 1.023 on duration — gives 11.4 m and 75 minutes, which is what the workbook now carries, with a note saying so.

The wider Vinkeveen story — Golden Age peat digging for Amsterdam, then sand for the A2 — is in nld-zandeiland-4.md.
