Traced from the 2007 Aktun-Hu cave system survey (Alvarez, Attolini, Nava, MacKenzie, Bird, Maghelli, Roca; published by cave-ha.com as the Otoch Ha map). The survey has no scale bar or north arrow: scale comes from its penetration figures in feet from Cenote Aktun-Hu (consistent at 3.85 ft per pixel along nine line ends), and north-up was checked against the cave-ha Sac Actun system map (Nmag 2012). The T right below the cenote is at 7.6 m (cave-ha); right/west is the main line to El Cruzero and tunnels B, C and E, left/east runs 549 m to Cenote Aktun-Hu and on to Cueva Seca and Cabeza Azteca. Distances in labels are line distance from Nariz derived from the survey's penetrations; depths are the survey's small foot figures converted to metres and partly illegible, so treat them as indicative. Positions are approximate and the pool outline is schematic.
Cenote Nariz, also called Otoch Ha. Reached from the 54 km mark on the Cancún–Tulum federal road and then about 8 km of dirt track into the jungle — which, with three other cenotes on the same track, makes this a day out rather than a stop.
It is part of the connected Sac Actun complex. Maximum depth 12.8 m. A T-junction at about 7.5 m splits the dive: roughly 610 m of line on the main right-hand passage, and about 518 m on the left running towards Cenote Aktun Hu. Fresh water over a halocline.
Six dives, February 2022 to February 2026.
