Traced from the 1999 Mafia Maps line map of Sistema Minotauro (Birnbach, Le Maillot, Devos, Azubel; via cave-ha.com), with the 2008 upstream survey (Wylde/Devos) and the 2013 Reato map as checks. The 1999 map has no scale bar: the scale (about 390 m from Cenote Minotauro to Cenote Winz) is a compromise between the UTM positions printed on the 2008 survey and the 3,814 m of line the 1999 map states, so distances are approximate to perhaps 15 %. Depths are the map's feet converted to metres; the Winz passage is drawn as a jump because the 1999 map leaves a gap there, and the separate Cenote Escondido/Calica lines on the same sheet, which do not connect, are left out. The system has grown to 8.7 km since (2013 survey), so many side passages are missing.
Sistema Minotauro is small and shallow — 17.7 m at its deepest — with entrances at Minotauro, Escalera, Estrella, Piedra, Winz and one unnamed cenote.
Its interest is the relationship with Tajma Ha, whose cenote is about 600 m to the north-west and whose nearest passages come within sixty metres of Minotauro's. Tajma Ha drains into Minotauro; water sampling proves it is the same water; and a collapse in between has blocked every attempt to connect them. Two systems with one hydrology, separated by a rockfall.
Three dives, February 2022 to February 2026, to 14.6 m. The position used to be Guadalajara, 1 650 km away.
