Boat dive on the north-west tip of Klein Bonaire (BNMP site, also Carl's Hill / Carl's Hill Annex): a sheer wall starting about 20 yards off the rocks and dropping to sand at about 21 m, with sponges, gorgonians and feather-bush hydroids on the face (infobonaire.com, divers-guide.com; divers-guide gives the wall as 10-40 m). The site point is from divers-guide.com and the wall follows the outer edge of the OpenStreetMap reef outline; near the tip the wall is drawn about 18 m off the rocks, as infobonaire.com describes, closer in than the OSM reef edge. The mooring position and the route are illustrative. The site file's coordinates are the island centre; this map is centred on the site itself. Coastline and the reef outline © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL). Positions are approximate.

On Klein Bonaire, the protected islet off Kralendijk. The site — also listed as Carl's Hill and Carl's Hill Annex on various maps — is one of the steeper faces on the islet, with a near-vertical section close inshore and good sponge cover.
Dived 18 August 2012 to 20.1 m, the second of two dives out to Klein Bonaire that day.
