At Mġarr ix-Xini on the south coast. Ras il-Ħobż — bread cape — is a shore dive onto a single pinnacle that rises from more than 40 m of water to about 10 m below the surface. Divers call it the Middle Finger, for reasons that are clear from the profile.

The narrow channel between the pinnacle and the shore bottoms out at 35 m, so the standard dive runs down the channel, round the base and up the tower in a spiral. It is the best-shaped dive on Gozo — one object, all of it visible, depth entirely under your control.
