Gubal Seghir with its fringing reef, the Bluff Point light on the eastern tip, the sheltered lagoon and mooring south-west of the point, and the Barge. Island shore, reef edge, light and Barge position come from OpenStreetMap, the Barge depth from the Red Sea Wreck Project. The Barge at the mooring is marked; the Ulysses on the north face is a separate site and is left off. The drift line is the usual wall drift from the point to the mooring, not a recorded track; positions are approximate.

Gubal Seghir, the smaller Gubal island. Its north-eastern corner is Bluff Point, where the
current accelerates round the wall, and the slope below it carries the Ulysses and the Barge —
both covered in egy-the-barge-ulysses.md.
The workbook notes that this is probably the same place as egy-gobal-island, logged under a
second name on a different trip. Both are kept because both appear in the log, but they should be
read as one island group.
