One-way shore dive: in at Rick's Reef about 300 m north-east of the Canyon along the coast, south-west along the shallow reef slope (max 14 m) and out through the Canyon lagoon. Dive-centre descriptions (H2O Divers, Sea Dancer) put Rick's Reef 300 m north of the Canyon and drift south, so the path runs that way; the Rick's Reef entry point is placed from that distance and is approximate. A traverse along the reef north of Dahab, entering at Rick's Reef, about 300 m north of the Canyon, and following the drop-off south to exit through the Canyon's lagoon. Logged 11 August 2008, 14.3 m for 67 minutes — a shallow, long, unhurried swim rather than a dive at either named feature.
