Sparse map: the eastern half of the Offlumer See at Neuenkirchen with the bathing beach, the reed belts and the jetty from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors), and the divers' entry on the south shore by the lake restaurant (taucher.net: entry at the Gaststätte Offlumer See), placed at the shore nearest the restaurant, so approximate. The lake is a nature reserve with swimming only at the beach; reports give about 18 m depth and little visibility below 7 m. No dive map or object positions were found.

A small flooded pit at Neuenkirchen, just over the border from Twente. One dive, 25 May 2014, to 10.8 m.
One of the run of German day trips in 2014 — Dankern, Freizeitsee, Oslunner See, Geeste — that a Dutch diver living in Overijssel makes because the border is twenty minutes away and the lakes on the other side of it are cheaper and emptier.
