The southern double reef: entry over broken rocks, a sandy shelf to the drop-off at about 10 m, the inner reef sloping to about 20 m, the sand valley between the reefs that gives the site its name at 18-24 m with garden eels and rays, and the outer reef beyond (bonaire.com site 42, zentacle.com reviews). Band widths agree with the Hilma Hooker, which OpenStreetMap places 370 m south in the same sand channel; the 30 m contour, the mooring spot and the route direction are assumptions. One of the double-reef sites on the southern coast. The name refers to the sand valley between the inner and outer reefs — a wide, flat, pale basin at around 18–20 m that on a still day looks like the bed of a lake, and behaves like one: no surge, no current, nothing but garden eels and rays on the sand.
