Plan traced from the 2007 survey by Nadir Lasson published on plongeesout (Plongée Souterraine FFS), drawn to 750 m; sump 3 continues beyond the plan to a boulder choke at about 1338 m from the entrance (-57 m, low point -69 m), which is not drawn. The entrance is the small spring pool on the Célé bank; the first 40 m are too narrow to turn round in, sump 1 runs 510 m (max -17 m) with small air bells at 150 m and near 190 m, then an air gallery, the 28 m sump 2 and the start of sump 3. Depths and distances are the survey's spot labels; the survey's north is magnetic (2007), the line is drawn on the passage centreline and positions are approximate (within about 5 m). The side passage at 63 m rising to -2 m is drawn as shown on the survey without further detail.

Marche-Pied sits on the same bank of the Célé as the Ressel, 2.5 km downstream, and drains the same Réseau Gramat-Sud. It is the Ressel's small, awkward neighbour.

Three siphons, the third dropping into the 47 m zone. The defining feature is the entrance: for the first 40 m the passage is too narrow to turn round in, so it is dived side-mount and committed to from the surface. There is no reconsidering at metre thirty.

Two dives here. The position used to be near Nîmes, 210 km from the Lot.
