Shore dive at the north-east end of the Happy Life Village beach, south of Dahab: sand slope and reef flat, coral blocks with tops at 7 m, the two golden coral towers at about 25 m on the sand and the drop-off from 25 to 55 m with two cracks. Oriented along the OSM coastline; all positions are approximate (tens of metres). The gorgonian at 18 m is from the site description; the coastline and the jetty are from OpenStreetMap.

South of Dahab, entered off the shore. You descend over a sandy slope with an extensive seagrass bed on the right at 16–20 m, and swim out until two hard-coral towers appear out of it. They are a distinct warm gold colour, which is where the name comes from, and there is a big gorgonian at about 18 m that serves as the marker for finding them.

Dive 43, 3 August 2005, to 19 m — one of the first dives of Dennis's first Dahab week.
