TODI at Beringen in Belgian Limburg is an indoor dive pool: clear, warm, controlled, with platforms and objects at set depths, built into the site of the Beringen colliery — one of the Kempen coal mines that closed in the 1980s and which is now a UNESCO-listed industrial heritage site.
It exists for the same reason DiveWorld in Enschede exists: somewhere to do skills, test equipment and run courses in February and March without cold, current or visibility.
One dive, 18 March 2018, to 9.6 m for 66 minutes.
